PulseWave: Secure VPN ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

🔒 Strict Zero-Logs Guarantee: We route your internet traffic through highly encrypted VPN tunnels using the secure WireGuard® protocol. We do not log, monitor, inspect, or store your browsing history, DNS queries, destination IPs, or network traffic logs. Your online activity remains entirely anonymous.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information (such as your name, phone number, or email address) to use the core VPN service.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect diagnostic and device information to optimize performance, including:

  • Device information (model name, operating system, and language settings).
  • App usage data (session duration and connection state).
  • Crash reports and performance metrics (via Google Firebase Crashlytics) to troubleshoot and fix bugs.

1.3 VPN Traffic

The App encrypts and routes your network traffic. As part of our strict commitment to privacy:

  • We do **not** log the destinations or websites you visit.
  • We do **not** record the content of your communications.
  • We do **not** monitor or track your real IP address once connected to a node.

1.4 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may automatically collect and process certain data to serve, optimize, and measure ads, such as:

  • Your mobile device's Advertising Identifier (e.g., Android AAID).
  • Device model, carrier, IP address (anonymized where possible), and operating system version.
  • Ad interaction statistics (clicks, impressions, and views).

This data is used by Google to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can easily control, reset, or disable personalized advertising identifiers in your Android system settings under **Settings > Google > Ads**.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect strictly to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the VPN tunnel connection.
  • Monitor app stability, troubleshoot crashes, and optimize server speeds.
  • Deliver relevant, non-intrusive advertisements to fund free high-speed bandwidth.
  • Comply with necessary legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do **not** sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We only share anonymized or diagnostic data as necessary to support operations:

  • Google (AdMob & Firebase): To serve advertisements and analyze crash logs. This data is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Legal Authorities: Only when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and vital rights of our users or the public. Since we store no browsing logs, we cannot provide any history of your activity.

4. Data Retention

  • We **never** retain VPN traffic or connection logs.
  • General performance diagnostics and advertising identifiers are retained securely according to Google's standard developer retention schedules.
  • All other support-related correspondences are deleted once resolved.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You hold full control over your device and privacy:

  • You can enable or disable VPN permissions at any time through your Android Settings.
  • You can opt-out of ad personalization or reset your Advertising ID under **Settings > Google > Ads**.
  • If you have submitted a support ticket, you may request the deletion of your email contact history at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently received support data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

7. Security

We employ state-of-the-art cryptographic encryption standards. All network traffic is tunneled using the robust WireGuard® protocol. While we use industry-leading measures to shield your network packets, please remember that no transmission over the public internet is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page, and by posting in-app notices for major updates.
